Modern Makers: Drawing from Life a Success
The Modern Makers series at 2606 Short Vine kicked off last night with an event featuring Drawings from Life. A few dozen attendees perused the hanging artwork alongside artists who sketched flowers and plant life. A harpist from University of Cincinnati’s College Conservatory of Music played notes that flitted through the space adding the perfect touch to the already creative ambiance. Next door, the Dive Bar was alive with conversation and laughter as Modern Makers attendees trickled over to check out the scene and enjoy cold beverages. The success of the event promises its return next month so be sure to keep checking in for unfolding details.
